The five reasons why we make use of models, mock ups, specimens
and objects:
1. to overcome limitations of space and
time
-In this way teacher less
time consume, he/she focuses of topic discussion.
2. to “edit” reality for us to be able
to focus on parts or a process of a system that we intend to study
-The learners focuses the
process of their studying the reality, to develop their construction skill.
3. to overcome difficulties of size, to
understand the inaccessible and help learners understand abstractions
-The illustration of the real sizes,
to be able to inform the students of comparison, similarities and their
characteristics.
